Step 4: Installation. 1-2 days on site. Scaffolding goes up the day before. Our 2-3 engineer team installs mounting rails, panels, inverter, isolators, generation meter, and battery (if specified). We commission the system, demonstrate the app, and walk you through everything before we leave.

Step 5: Aftercare. MCS certificate and SEG application are submitted within 7 days. The 2-year workmanship guarantee starts. Smart monitoring runs in the background — we'll flag any underperformance to you proactively.

Battery storage — should you add one?

Most Midlands homeowners installing solar in 2026 are adding battery storage at the same time — typically a 5-10kWh Tesla Powerwall or Fox-ESS battery. Do I need planning permission for solar panels in the Midlands?
