By using midland-solar.co.uk you agree to these terms. The website is provided by Midland Solar Ltd on an "as is" basis. We reserve the right to amend the content at any time. The information published is for general guidance — all specific advice about solar systems on your property should be confirmed in writing in a formal quote.
Quotes and contracts
Online enquiries are not contracts. A binding contract is formed only when a signed, written quote is countersigned by both parties. Quotes are valid for 60 days from issue unless stated otherwise.
MCS certification
Every installation we provide is MCS-certified. MCS paperwork is issued within 7 working days of commissioning. The MCS certificate is required for Smart Export Guarantee eligibility — this is automatically submitted by us as part of the installation.
Workmanship guarantee
2-year workmanship guarantee on every installation — covering labour and any installation defects. Component warranties (panels typically 25-30 years; inverters 5-12 years; batteries 10 years) are administered by the manufacturer under their respective terms.
Cancellation
14-day statutory cooling-off period from contract signature for residential customers. Beyond 14 days, cancellation charges apply per the signed contract. Commercial contracts have separate cancellation terms.
Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, design) is the property of Midland Solar Ltd unless otherwise credited. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
We make every effort to ensure the information on this website is accurate but accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on website information alone (always confirm in your formal quote). Our liability under installation contracts is limited to the value of the contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
