1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Our Services

Midland Solar Ltd provides solar panel installation, battery storage solutions, and related services. Our services include:

• Free property surveys and quotations
• Solar PV system design and installation
• Battery storage installation
• EV charging point installation
• Ongoing maintenance and support

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to a valid site survey and may be adjusted based on findings. VAT is included in all quoted prices for residential installations where applicable.

4. Installation Work

We will carry out all installation work in accordance with current regulations, including:

• MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards
• Building Regulations Part P
• G98/G99 grid connection requirements
• Manufacturer specifications and guidelines

5. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide the following warranties:

• 10-year workmanship guarantee on all installations
• 25-30 year manufacturer warranty on solar panels
• 10-year warranty on inverters and batteries

Warranties are subject to proper use and maintenance. Damage caused by third parties, extreme weather events, or misuse is not covered.

6. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required to secure your installation date. The balance is due upon completion of the installation and successful commissioning of the system. We accept bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and offer finance options subject to status.

7. Cancellation

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of signing a contract (cooling-off period). Cancellations after this period may incur charges for any work already undertaken or materials ordered.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the installation contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings from the Smart Export Guarantee.
