Fox-ESS is our go-to value option, sitting just below Tesla Powerwall (premium) on price while matching much of its capability. The hardware is excellent — LiFePO4 batteries with strong cycle life, slick aluminium-cased inverters, and a particularly good integrated app for monitoring and tariff arbitrage.
