Midland Solar Ltd (trading as Midland Solar) is registered in England and Wales. Our office is at Unit 8 Quartz Close, B5K Business Park, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 4GR. We are the data controller for personal data collected via this website.
What we collect
When you complete a quote form, contact form or survey-booking form, we collect: name, email address, phone number, postcode, property type, and any free-text notes you choose to share. We do not collect financial information through this website.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a survey or quote, and communicate with you about your installation. With explicit consent, we may also send you occasional updates about solar grant changes, new product launches and customer offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
How long we keep it
Quote-stage enquiries: 24 months from your last contact. Customer records: 7 years from the date of installation (HMRC retention requirement for warranty and accounting purposes). Marketing consents: until you withdraw consent.
Who we share it with
Survey and installation team members within Midland Solar Ltd. Finance partners (only when you have explicitly applied for finance — they conduct credit checks under their own privacy policies). DNO and MCS bodies (statutory paperwork as part of MCS-compliant installation). We never sell your data to third parties.
