Our story
Midland Solar started in 2009 as a small family-run electrical contractor in Tamworth, fitting solar panels for a handful of local homes when the technology was still novel and expensive. Sixteen years later, we've installed solar PV on more than 2,500 properties across the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Shropshire.
What's stayed constant: every quote is written by an in-house surveyor who has stood on the customer's roof. Every install is done by our own MCS-accredited engineers — we don't sub-contract domestic work. Every job is backed by our 2-year workmanship guarantee, in writing, on company letterhead.
What we install
Residential and commercial solar PV, battery storage (Tesla Powerwall, Fox-ESS, Sigenergy), EV chargers (Zappi, Ohme, Pod Point, Hypervolt), heat pumps (where requested as a complement to solar), and the maintenance backbone — annual servicing, bird-proofing, cleaning, inverter replacement.
