Cycle Life
Batteries are rated for a number of charge/discharge cycles. Quality batteries offer 6,000-10,000 cycles, equivalent to cycling once or twice daily for 15-20+ years.
Degradation Over Time
Like all batteries, solar batteries gradually lose capacity over time. After 10 years, expect around 70-80% of original capacity remaining — still perfectly functional for typical household use.

If your roof needs scaffolding on more than one elevation, or has restricted access, that additional cost is quoted separately after survey. Prices include VAT. Domestic solar and battery storage is zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027. Subject to a free technical survey. We will confirm the final price in writing before any work is booked.
